Underlying every good business is a well-kept set of books - and often computerised accounts too. It’s a skill that’s as necessary for small companies as large; is transferable from one employer to another; and can be the starting point for a rewarding career in financial accounting.

The skills required cover a number of clearly defined book-keeping techniques as well as mastery of industry standard software common to virtually every business in the UK.
