Naomi   Legal Secretarial Diploma Student

 

So Naomi, why did you choose this course? I already work in a solicitors’ office and have thoroughly enjoyed working in the legal sector but wanted to improve myself by gaining new skills and improving my ability to earn. I had been looking for new ways to stretch myself in terms of learning outside of work for a while and felt that gaining practical skills would be the most beneficial to me. It was clear from my first meeting with Dave that this course offered the practicality that I had been looking.   How have you found the course so far? I am really enjoying the course. The materials are so clear and accessible and you feel yourself achieving very early on because the course is modular and so clearly sectioned. Although I have taken this course in order to be able to apply for better paid and more challenging roles, I have already found that the learning is easily applied in my current position.   Would you do it again? I would definitely consider doing any further training in this manner. I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have done so far and am looking forward to the opportunities it will open up for me.

So Daniella, why did you choose this course? I chose this course to help me develop my skills and to better my career prospects.  Pitman Training is a well established training provider who I knew could help me do this.     How have you found the course so far? So far I have really enjoyed the course.  I’m learning such a range of new skills all the time so no two training sessions are ever the same.  Everybody is so friendly and the staff are really helpful. The self-paced learning has been ideal for me as I am currently working full time.  I have been able to fit this course around my job due to the centre opening hours of an evening and weekend.  Also, everybody works at a different rate so this style of learning works really well and there are always staff available if help is ever required.   How are you doing (results) and would you do it again? So far I am doing really well.  I’m over half way through the course and have passed with distinction on each module.  I would do it again and would recommend it to anybody looking for improved career prospects or a total change in career.
